Engineered oak wood Chevron flooring is characterized by its V-shaped pattern. This type of hardwood flooring has grown in popularity recently, and for a good reason. Chevron parquet is not only stylish but also versatile and makes a strong design statement.
Chevron Flooring Vs Herringbone Flooring
Herringbone and Chevron patterns are classic and elegant and work well with both traditional homes and modern apartments alike. Wooden floors with Herringbone and Chevron are often confused with one another. However, the two styles are pretty different.
The main difference between a Herringbone pattern and a Chevron pattern is the angle at which planks are cut. In Ecohardwood's wooden flooring manufacturing process, Chevron planks are precisely cut at a 45- or 30-degree angle. Another 45 or 30 degree edge will be used to join them, making them look like an arrow.
Arranged at a 90-degree angle, Herringbone parquet flooring resembles a zigzag pattern, but it doesn't have sharp points like a Chevron. Click here to learn more about Herringbone oak flooring >>

Installation of Chevron parquet flooring
A Chevron oak floor is one of the most complex floors to lay, so you should hire an experienced and reputable professional.
The angle of the floor must remain consistent, and the blocks must fit tightly together. Lines that aren't straight will mess up the floor's overall appearance. Throughout the years, we have installed countless parquet and chevron floors. See our projects gallery for additional examples below.
Please note that it is essential to follow manufacturer installation instructions. You can read our company installation guide here >>
